Coincidentally, as part of our latest cataloguing project, we added this 1771 edition of "The select works of William Penn" a few days ago. It's part of our Quaker collection which will appear as part of our online catalogue in the course of the next few months.
John Woolman has been described as the “Quaker Saint” and the “Quintessential Quaker.” Now 250 years since his death in 1772, it is worth reflecting on the life and legacy of this famous tailor, minister, and abolitionist.
