i saw one person saying “why is this flag needed” so here’s a list of reasons why someone might use this - highlight the differences between members in a system - express that this is different than being genderfluid and there is a criteria to the fluidity …
Day 12 SYSTEMFLUID ~ A gender exclusive to systems, when ones gender identity changes depending on who is fronting

i think people should discuss more how difficult and complex gender dysphoria can be with a dissociative disorder. it’s hard to ever fully present in a way that everyone is comfortable with when different parts have such wildly different gender identities and expressions

I wish I could use "because it makes me wanna kill myself" as a valid reason for not wanting to do something but people find that uncomfortable

i'm reminded of this tumblr post... it makes me emotional every time
The more you learn about child abuse, the more you begin to realize that unconditional love is expected from children toward their parents, not the other way around. And it was never the other way around.

When i was a kid i had heard about kids having imaginary friends all the time and thought that was just what kids are supposed to do, so I made up and forcibly manufactured a fake imaginary friend, to follow the classic Childhood Experience exactly as I was supposed to
do a lot of people really have imaginary friends as kids or is it something popularised by media

it just occurred to me that the reason singlets might have a hard time understanding a system having multiple sexuality labels for different alters is that maybe they don't understand that our sexuality literally does change. it's not that the attraction you feel stays the same

ofc this is not everyone's experience, but it is mine and I know from posting about it here (and even reddit) that a lot of people relate. and it's precisely what leads *us* to have different alters use different labels

I wasn't going to keep talking about this because I do not like involving myself in discourse on this account, but it literally just occurred to me when reading someone else's tweet on my timeline and I had to share

I really need singlets to stop talking about systems. there ARE people with "right-leaning alters" and overall views that go against what the rest of the system believes. but most people won't be open about that, especially not on fucking twitter because it makes us feel like
oh hey i remember your racist transphobic ass

I'm also going to add, just in case, that I am not saying this justifies any harmful acts done by a system with such alters. system accountability is a thing, and the marginalized groups affected by said actions and words are more important than your own comfort

I'm just saying that it is a thing since the claim I'm responding to is saying it doesn't happen
