Yesterday was a big day at the New York State Capitol for Liberty ARC’s favorite newsletter publisher, Dylan Biddle! Dylan was able to sit down for an exclusive interview with New York State Assemblyman and Chair of the Assembly Committee on Disabilities @AsmSantabarbara , which will be featured in the upcoming edition of his e-newsletter, “Dylan’s Dish.” He was then introduced on the Assembly floor by Santabarbara, where he received a standing ovation, for his success as an author and a passionate self-advocate for people with disabilities. Laurel Skultety and Paul McAvoy from Liberty ARC, along with Dylan’s other staff members from AIM Services and the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and members of his family, were on hand to celebrate with him.
