Audiobooks are my solution to anything productive. Need to deep clean? Have a long drive? Need to focus on an intricate task? Need to go for a walk? A good audiobook will make all of it so much easier.

Yesterday was such a win. S1: Miss, I love this library. S2: Yeah, this library is the best. & then, waiting for afterschool clubs to start, I spotted 2 kiddos reading their new library books. ❤️📚

Just told my husband about this the other day!
Actor Jane Russel getting accidentally knocked into pool by man diving over her, but she continued the scene anyway (1953)
Community note
There is clearly a cut in the middle of the sequence before she resumes singing and is pulled out of the pool. It is misleading to suggest she kept singing. biography.com/actors/jane-ru…

7th Grader: She's louder than the kids. I don't think she should be a librarian. 😆😆😆😆

It has officially been 1 year of living in New Mexico! It has been so interesting learning a new state. I've been doing a lot to improve my MS library. I look forward to seeing what this upcoming school year has in store.

Ya girl presented at #EdTechBoostNM on @wakelet Lots of internet issues, but I'm hopeful that participants left with new & innovative ways to engage w/their classrooms & community. (Hand = my Nervous/Awkward pose)

Annnddd that's a wrap on Yr 8 & Ye 3 in the library & Yr 1 in NM. Not gonna lie, it was kinda rough. A lot of new to learn, but I'm proud of what I accomplished. Now that I've laid some ground work, I have hopes for a better year next year!

This library really said, "You THOUGHT you were done weeding for the year." The reference section & professional section just....got me speechless.

Participated in my first NM Battle of the Books. Now that I have a better understanding of the set-up, I'm hoping to have more kiddos next year & I'll be able to plan more efficiently. These kiddos rocked it!
