Getting ready for our visit with @BethFerry1 in a few weeks by doing some experiments with magnets. Marsha is Magnetic is such a great book with both STEM and SEL connections! @RRD_LCPS
Fifth grade has been discussing nonfiction, and we've been reading about rockets (and the Artemis program) in particular. This morning we were so honored and excited to be able to host an incredible NASA scientist for a virtual visit! @WomenNASA@RRD_LCPS

Congrats to our 5th graders for reaching their goal in CHAMP tickets. They earned a ‘pie their teacher’ time. Keep showing that CHAMP behavior in and out of RRD!
I am so proud of the students in Ms. Hansberger and Ms. Shanley's classrooms for the science fair they had last week! They did a great job presenting their findings. Apple seeds, magnets, ramps, tastes- wonderful experiments done by wonderful students! @LuannaSHansber1@RRD_LCPS

Not only do kids find spooky stories exciting & interesting, but research also shows that reading scary stories with children can actually help them cope with different situations they may face in life & help them learn how to confront their fears! 🕷️ ➝ bit.ly/ScaryBooksForKids
The fabulous Ms. Boulware has truly outdone herself yet again. Students are amazed and thrilled by all the little details. Candy corn banners, "eyeballs" hanging from the ceiling, bats and spiders... You'll just have to come see it during our Book Fair in 2 weeks! @RRD_LCPS
Our new library stations this year have been such a showcase of creativity and fun!! Students have created hats and limbo sticks out of straws, done LEGO and KEVA challenges, challenged each other at games, and so much more! @RRD_LCPS
