HOW ON EARTH IS IT A GOOD IDEA TO PLAY BOTH TESTS ON THE SAME TRACK?

Fantastic record broken by @66joeroot and still only 33. Crazy to think how many test runs he might yet get.
Scored 70-odd on debut. How many more would he already have got if he hadn't been made captain but just allowed to accumulate runs?

Everton v Newcastle...Anthony Gordon steps up to take a penalty.....and it's saved. I have to say if I was manager I wouldn't be asking my player to take a pen against his old club, at their ground too. In fact I'd prevent him!

Another day of howling gales on the South Coast. Too windy to run the Promenade a lot of the time, certainly too windy to cycle.
Note to self - learn how to Kite Surf so I can actually DO something in the wind.
May help me with a PB in press ups too. Currently stuck on 15. Urgh!

Sad news, Clive Everton has died.
The voice of snooker during some of it's most momentous years.
Very knowledgable. And if there was nothing to say, he didn't say it. TV is not radio, and sometimes silence works too.

2nd time this year Spurs drawn at home to Man City early in a cup competition. And a repeat of the '81 FA Cup Final won by one of the great goals at Wembley. Motty's commentary - "....Villa...still Ricky Villa...what a fantastic run...HE'S SCORED!!!!!"
