Yes. The NBA is better for some reason when the Knicks are doing well.

I think I know why I’m happy for the Knicks.
It’s a big city with lots to do, New York. But God do they love their basketball team.
They hadn’t won since my mother was in High School, but that didn’t define the culture of the franchise. The lack of championships and being long suffering wasn’t the story.
They never became lovable losers. Too much pride.
The culture of the city defined the culture of the team. They celebrated in good times and bad, so it feels like this joy was earned.
Not one guy on the Knicks was supposed to be the next big thing. They actually beat the next big thing.
It’s just kinda dope.

The amount of fouls in act of shooting the refs are calling fouls on the floor is insane. Clearly the officiating in the NBA is biased. Multiple fouls while shooting not called for Lakers. This is ridiculous. #nba

This is unreal! The Lakers are also on a strong run that was not expected. The man struggles at D. He complains to refs. He also is an incredible scorer and passer. His D even has improved, not saying it’s good, but it’s improving. He should be in MVP top 3 at least!!
