Attended a job in northallerton this morning, customer could not get a new key out the lock and the thumb turn had fell off. Reattached the thumb turn and lubricated the lock and the key came straight out. #locksmith #northallerton #northyorkshire @ Northallerton
Attended a door today that worked out of the frame, but not in it. A quick look showed the day latch not engaging the strike. As it was not fully extending once the door was closed, the mech could not be engaged or locked. Adjustment and it is working fine. #locksmith #durham
Attended a job at Brompton on swale where the customer could not lock the door. On inspection we saw that the mech needed a service as it was dry, full of muck, dead bugs etc. Second the security bolts were not lined up with their keeps. Working good as new again #locksmith
Replaced a couple of broken window handles this morning in brough with st Giles for a customer. Damage was caused by "stiff" windows. If your window is difficult to open and close, chances are the locking mechanism needs looking at and adjusting.#locksmith #glazing #upvcwindows
