My son is taking part of in a social experiment. He has to wear a MAGA hat and record how people react to him. So far, on the first day, he has been spit on, yelled at, and had water tossed in his face.
I am curious to see what will happen when he finally leaves the house!

When Ebola tore through the Democratic Republic of Congo between 2018 and 2020, one of the few glimmers of hope to emerge from the devastation were the “lullaby mothers” – survivors who, protected by their own immunity, cared for infants orphaned by the disease.
Yet we are unlikely to see the same with the current outbreak now sweeping central Africa. It is caused by the rare Bundibugyo strain of Ebola and the pool of survivors from past outbreaks is much smaller.
For now, at least, there are no women with immunity who can safely enter the contamination zones to care for children and babies who have been isolated to stop the virus spreading. For the children, it will make an already terrifying experience all the more frightening.

Nonsense. We have half dozen papers in our best scientific journals, Cell, Science, Nature, detailing the evidence for zoonotic spillover of SARS-2, happening just like SARS-1, MERS coronaviruses, and not a single scientific paper, nor even plausible mechanism for GOF lab leak
