You shouldn’t care about #SocialCare because it’s in crisis you should care about social care because it’s about people, our lives, our families, being part of our communities. No one’s getting social care who doesn’t need it but lots of people who need it are not getting it.

CN: assisted suicide. Some say ‘well no one’s forcing you’ but if you haven’t sat opposite a social worker/assessor justifying how long it takes to wee I doubt you’ll get the depth of many disabled people’s fears. How can we have a right to die without a right to independent life

I know. I’m hearing of parents really struggling with not just getting things sorted in terms of gifts this year, but the constant stream of emails & demands from schools. Juggling time off for events, getting the right clothes on the right day & generally feeling overwhelmed.

The tragic terrible news has come to me that Benjamin Zephaniah's family have announced that Benjamin has died. I'm devastated. I admired him, respected him, learnt from him, loved him. Love and condolences to the family and to all who loved him too.

- Respect their knowledge with your arrangements
- Recognise freelancers are best placed to know their economic worth, livelihood needs and on costs

I’ve been HIV for over 30 years. I’m happy healthy(and kinda hot). On one pill and can expect average life span. Pre exposure prophylaxis now means new cases have dropped hugely. The biggest challenge in the Uk is not medicine but stigma. So let’s talk about HIV. Silence =death
