We are glad to share that the @INDIACCDC team hosted the National Workshop on July 1st and the Stakeholder Consortium Meeting on July 2nd in Delhi. The events focused on the connection between floods and non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in India. The conversations were targeted at empowering the health care system in flood-affected areas such as Bihar and Kerala through the incorporation of early warning systems, telemedicine, and community-driven initiatives. Our partners and stakeholders have been extremely supportive and have helped to create a dialogue that is collaborative, science-based, and inclusive. #CCDC #HealthForAll #NationalWorkshop #Stakeholders #NCD #ChronicDiseases @UNDP @UNDP_India @DFYIndia @WHO @NCDCgov @MoHFW_INDIA @NPCCHH @moefcc @ndmaindia @aiims_newdelhi @ICMRDELHI @iitroorkee

For those struggling to log in to COWIN, even if you do, it may not amount to much. Vaccine makers don't have stock to sell to state govts pvt hospitals. They still have to meet their commitments to the Centre, which they are barely able to.

I'd bet almost every woman in the world has spent more time on unpaid care like cooking, cleaning, or caring for family in the last year. The work is unpaid, but it comes at an enormous cost—for women and for the global economy.
