He will assume office after Gen Anil Chauhan completes his tenure on 30 May 2026. A highly decorated officer with over four decades of distinguished service, Lt Gen Raja Subramani is currently serving as Military Adviser at the National Security Council Secretariat since Sep 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi shall dedicate the Ganga Expressway to the nation in Hardoi on April 29, 2026. Yogi government is advancing this project as an “expressway-cum-industrial corridor” model. By linking infrastructure with industrial growth, the expressway is being developed as an Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Cluster (IMLC).   Under the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority’s plan, 12 industrial nodes are being developed along the 594-km expressway, with 6,507 acres of land identified. So far, 987 investment proposals have been received, targeting nearly ₹47,000 crore in investments.
