The best evidence that soil health is rarely a big factor in crop yield is organic farming. It often shows increased soil health (due to use of compost/manure) but also lower crop yields.

Today we published our review on the influence of grazing management on soil carbon in Australia. Increases in soil carbon could not be detected with increased intensity of grazing management or lower stocking rates.

Great story. Agree transitioning to non mulesed needs to be planned with breeding & mgt decisions. We have some excellent outcomes with clients taking a strategic approach. At the end of the day, how quickly you can move, depends on your starting point, not 1 size fits all.

I didn’t realise that I had sheep blowfly resistance to Clik until I did this testing with @nswdpi Narelle Sales through @woolinnovation fly chemical resistance modelling project.
