Lover of all things Cumbria and being outdoors, my dogs and my hubby.....although not necessarily in that order.....depends how good hubby's being ๐๐
@Sunnysidegh great to bump into you this evening Paul and catch up a bit. Hope you had a great walk with the beautiful dogs ๐ถ That sunset is hanging on so I hope you got some good shots for us all ๐
Mountain rescue teams are volunteers. Every call-out puts their lives at risk as much as yours. Safety warnings arenโt there to spoil your fun โ theyโre there to help you come home safely, without putting others in danger.
With this cold snap continuing, if you see someone about to head off on an ill-prepared adventure, give them a friendly word of advice: donโt be an eejit.

A damp start but brightened up a little for this mornings wander around Sale Fell. Never made the summit which was lucky as on the way round I met the lovely Mr and Mrs G @martgathercole for a wonderful Twitter meets Reality moment ๐๐๐ Great to meet you and have a wee chat.
Still canโt believe that tomorrow we will celebrating the life of my best friend and sister. Miss you every minute of every day ๐๐ข

Beautiful day in the Lake District and a fabulous walk up towards Force Crag Mine, onto Coledale Hause then up to Whiteless Pike for stunning views in all directions. Drinks at Syke Farm tearoom โ๏ธ๐ Belting day out.
Lovely cycle out this morning up the old Calvert Trust road then onto Wescoe and dropping down into Threlkeld for coffee. Great to bump into @thelonningsguy on there ๐๐
