Things moved fast once Scott's pitch was live:
Day 1: First agent like
Day 3: Full manuscript request
Day 10: Agent requests a call
Day 11: Offer of rep
Not every offer will move this quickly. But it validates our belief that better matches lead to better outcomes.

What the LitConnect soft launch (Mar 2 - Mar 30) looked like, in one chart.
The short version: 1 in 2 pitches got an agent like. 1 in 6 agent likes turned into a manuscript request.
Early signal, but exactly the kind we hoped for.
Our bet was that better matching would mean better outcomes for both writers and agents. The first month suggests we're onto something.
We're building a new way to query: one where fit gets declared earlier, and writers spend less time guessing. If that sounds useful, do take a look: litconnect.net

An exciting update for #amquerying writers! I am now accepting queries through LitConnect! This new query platform saves me, and writers, tons of time, and is a much needed update to querying methods. Looking forward to your queries: litconnect.net@Litconnect_tech
We analyzed 14 months of activity from 350 literary agents on Bluesky and found clear quarterly patterns: open windows cluster, closures spike, and engagement shifts.
Jan-Mar is easily the most favorable quarter for querying.
That insight shaped how and when we launched LitConnect. Because timing shouldn't be guesswork.
