Happy Pride Month! Everyone deserves to live a life free from fear and oppression. But Trump and many of his MAGA allies have pushed our LGBTQIA neighbors to the margins with threats, scapegoating, and fear-mongering. Hear me when I say: our LGBTQIA neighbors deserve protection. They deserve all the same rights my wife and I are afforded. Above all, they deserve a government that doesn’t seek to ruin their lives on behalf of half-baked ideology. That’s why I’m dedicated to ensuring we make this country the safe and welcoming place everyone deserves to live in!

Thank you to all the organizers, volunteers, delegates, and alternates who spent their weekend in Rochester participating in our democratic process.  You're showing corporate PACs and their lobbyists that this process can’t be bought and sold to the highest bidder. It’s for us–not for them.  The road to November is long, but the August 11th primary is just around the corner. Now more than ever, we must be united if we’re going to defeat Trump and the Republicans, who understand the moment and have a united ticket headed into the primaries.  What we saw in Rochester this weekend was just the beginning. A better world is possible, and I’m so grateful to those who came out and spent their time this weekend dedicated to that cause. Let’s win this thing 🤝

Congratulations to Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan on winning the DFL Endorsement here in Rochester! As you all know, the DFL endorsement means a lot to me. It’s how I got my start, with no money and no network. If you want to keep corporate PAC and lobbyist money out of politics, this is how we do it. The DFL endorsement is a truly grassroots democratic process that lets anyone, from anywhere, have a fair shot and a voice in saving our country. Today, another senseless act of gun violence took a member of our community during a prayer service in Shakopee. I had the great honor of meeting the victim several times. He was thoughtful, energetic, and passionate about creating a better world. My heart goes out to his friends and family during this incredibly difficult time.

Trans rights are human rights. Period. Everyone deserves the right to live, love, and work as they choose. Everyone deserves to be safe in their community. Everyone deserves to be free from discrimination and hatred. Everyone deserves protection from tyrannical government overreach. ​I have no patience for people who try to scapegoat trans folks to score cheap political points or divert attention from their own bigotry. Above all, you deserve representation that fights for you. When we take back the house in November, I promise to stand by our trans community members!

A new poll from Impact Research, one of the foremost polling firms in the nation, finds that we’re leading in the primary by *28 points*! ​ And—even better—our lead jumps to *46 points* when voters learn we are the DFL endorsed candidate—so spread the word! Impact Research’s report also notes, “Little’s support is broad and deep — he leads across every ideological group, leading among Democrats who describe themselves as very liberal (Little 36), somewhat liberal (Little 26), and moderate alike (Little 15),” and “across all demographic subgroups.” This poll also shows our lead has grown since the February straw poll of over 5,000 CD2 DFL precinct caucus-goers, where we had a 22-point margin. And it is consistent with the DFL CD2 Convention endorsement tally, where we won the party endorsement on the first ballot by a 42-point margin! We’re not winning because we’ve taken easy positions. We’re winning because we’re sticking to our values, talking with everyone, and putting people first. We’re winning because of you! ​ This country is desperate for new, strong leadership. It’s desperate for fighters who will put people above the interests of corporations and the ultra-wealthy. That’s why we won the DFL endorsement. That’s why the voters of CD2 are supporting our campaign in the primary. Summer’s here, and the August 11th primary is fast approaching. Let’s keep this momentum going and win this thing!

It’s Memorial Day. As many of us are enjoying the long weekend and time with friends and family, we must not forget the sacrifice of those killed and wounded in the line of duty, fighting for this country. I’m grateful every day for the freedoms we have here in America because so many– from 1776 to now– have given everything to protect them.  Thank you to all who now serve and have served to protect this nation.

This campaign isn’t for big tech, big pharma, big banks, big insurance, big oil, or big money. This campaign is for underdogs, mavericks, and rebels; it’s for small businesses, small towns, and small family farms. It’s for families who can’t get ahead, no matter how hard they work. It’s for union members who can’t get a fair contract; for nurses, parents, farmers, plumbers, admins, retail workers, teachers, veterans–and you. It’s for everyone with big dreams, big ideas, big ambitions, and big hearts, working to make the American dream a reality for their family and their neighbors. We’re up against big money and power. We’re up against the ultra-wealthy who think they can buy your elections and maintain the status quo. But they’re wrong. With a campaign like this, built with your help, we can’t lose.
