I always think about this scene when thinking about this set. The colours and camera angles here are so effective at making the set look magical and warm. A cool contrast to the Doctor’s speech and tone in this scene.

So this very expensive TARDIS set that hasn’t been properly used for over a year will probably be dismantled soon 😭

I’m not saying I wish that the show ended with this scene but imagine how much more impactful an open-ended regeneration scene could’ve been where the Doctor comes to a powerful realization and the show ends with a hopeful note, a bit like this scene 💕
