This short perfectly shows why so many people are done with California.
After the Eaton Fire, this family fought to save their Altadena home with garden hoses. The house survived but became unlivable due to toxins and insurance delays. Instead of real help, LA County hit them with tickets for living in an RV on their own street — the same setup plenty of other fire victims are using just to stay close to what’s left of their lives.
