Very excited to see this manifesto from @weareplatfform calling for a holistic and social justice approach to mental health 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
To improve our mental health as a society, we need to have a different conversation, one that centres around what is really driving distress ⬇️ #PlatfformManifesto

“Something needs to happen immediately otherwise people are going to be in even worse conditions”. Housing conditions impact on physical and mental health. We agree, Nick. This needs to change!

The newly formed / forming Manchester group had their 3rd meeting yesterday. We are working on a Manchester specific mission statement. Let us know if you want to contribute.
What does the North West have to say about Coffey scrapping the health inequalities paper? Seems things are going from bad to worse. The bigger the divide the worse off everyone is.
Manchester features in 3rd place in the list of highest deprivation by ICS. No sign of levelling up. @theresecoffey We need that white paper!
Great meeting of the Manchester subgroup last night. New connections and conversations around working using community psychology and liberation psychology principles. Next meeting in October, TBC. Get in touch if you want to join 😊

Valuable clarification from @NorthWest_PSC re communities/ children being in very different 'boats' during pandemic. Systemic, proactive solutions and investment will be needed in the coming years to ensure that basic, emotional, social and learning/ aspirational needs are met.
Today we have sent an open letter to @AndyBurnhamGM and @MetroMayorSteve welcoming their commitment to a #buildbackbetter campaign and highlighting what a #justrecovery would look like for the #northwest Please share widely @LivEchonews @MENnewsdesk @PsychSocChange
