Got so distracted by the conversation in @Annie3H’s @UKGovCamp session on talking about agile with senior leadership that I accidentally used the wrong shade of green on my sewing… oops.
*Dusts of Twitter again*
I am ready for @UKGovCamp today! Craft camp in particular this afternoon but also looking forward to learning much during the day!
ALT Craft supplies, including knitting and an embroidery project. On a sofa with a foot in shot.
We're now back and refreshed from the break, so what's next?
As we head into 2022 we will be making improvements to the site through a program of user testing. We'll also be adding more @LocalGovDrupal functionality.
Watch this space for more updates!
Bit of a rough exit to 2021 with covid in the house.
2022 is starting strong though with a new sofa, exciting projects to dig into, and an attempt to get back into all that is going on in the #localgov world after hibernating for most of the last year!
What did I miss?
Our @LocalGovDrupal beta site turned live last night.
I’m fighting complete year-end exhaustion now but we freaking did it! The team absolutely rocked it!
Bring on 2022 for user testing, expanding functionality and making more improvements to the content!
We have migrated the last section of existing content to our @LocalGovDrupal beta site!
That is about 1700 pages of content created in under 6 months.
What an awesome achievement from the team!
Take a look at that final section at beta.bracknell-forest.gov.uk…#localgov
The team is working flat out to meet our December deadline now. Only about another 300 pages to build, plus 400 or so to re-direct!
Should probably get off Twitter and go back to work!
Saddened to see the floods in Cumbria today. Our recent hiking holiday took us to Wastwater almost everyday and it is such a beautiful place. Fingers crossed everyone is safe out there.
Finished the week off with a hike up Illgill Head and Whin Rigg then back along the spectacular Wast Water. That makes 6 Wainwrights this week!
Feet killing me but already planning our next trip up!
Another recovery day today so I got up to watch the non-existent sunrise and discovered baby cows in the garden! I mean, coffee and cows? Amazing! I love it here!
#LakeDistrict
ALT Three cows in a field in front of large fells.
Yesterday I made it up Scafell Pike, the highest English mountain. I hated every step of rocky terrain and uphill slog but am incredibly happy to have done it (and Lingmell and Scafell on the same trip!)
