A7: This year I have a class of 4 MS non-verbal Ss with Autism... ALL ON THEIR OWN!! 🥳 So I have an amazing opportunity to meet them at their level. Anyone have experience with a class like this? What kitchen based activities were successful for them? #teachfacs

A6: No limits??? ITALY!! More seriously... I would love to take any of my students to a farm and learn about farm to table food. They are boggled by garlic cloves... they think it’s always a powder! 🤦‍♀️ #teachfacs

A5: My favorite is our Food Truck Wars project. Ss in my class plan the menu and execute a dish and the FACS Ss next door create marketing materials. In the end they come together and present to a panel of judges. The final product: ultimate teamwork skills! #teachfacs

A4: I always try to use my original lesson, if possible. If not, I have a few go-to videos... or kitchen safety bingo. #teachfacs

A3: I LOVE to incorporate student choice! Many of my major projects involve a student choice board! Helps@l create a stronger sense of ownership of their work! #teachfacs

A2: My bell ringers involve posting the lesson objective on the board in the form of a question and challenging the students to know the answer by the end of the lesson. Could definitely use some bell ringer inspiration from you all! Love what I’m seeing so far! #teachfacs
