Honestly very upset about the changes to rare battles, I found out recently that the first rare battles had sleeves as well, and for the life of me I can’t figure out why bandai took a really really strong event to encourage product purchase and made it like this. (1/2)

I didn’t even bother trying to find cards to join the recent sakamoto rare battle and I doubt I’m gonna do the same for the Tokyo Ghoul one either, why half the prizing of such a strongly incentivized event? 2 prize cards is lacking. I built my progressive deck by winning the RB.

A copy of NKO is $155 CAD (108 USD), multiple used iphone 12s cost a tiny bit less, a VR headset also costs less. Personally, I do not think any base rarity Vanguard card should be $100, but hey wtv right haha

Today, I sold these to @ImBlank11. Genuinely one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever had to do, I never thought I would genuinely cry over trading cards in my life, as pathetic as that sounds. Thank you to everyone who has been here to support me in my dream for this deck.

I would like to say that I am absolutely not quitting Cardfight Vanguard, and I am also not going to stop playing Liael=Draconis. I am just taking a step back from my max rarity goal, and I’ll eventually get it no matter what. A journey without a setback isn’t a challenge.
