Fellow Travelers,
I am writing you all today to let you know that after a 10-plus year run, Localeur's trip as a consumer startup has ended.
Like all trips, we are somewhat sad we can't stay here forever while also appreciating the fact that we had a phenomenal experience. 1/
This is all very exciting and the investors supporting this shift share my excitement.
Today is bittersweet. We are saying goodbye to a place we loved, keeping some things we picked up along the way, and also taking memories and lessons with us for future adventures. 8/
It's been a beautiful trip.
Thank you all so much for your interest, love and support, and - most of all - for allowing us to pave the way for you to #experiencelocal on your travels.
With deep gratitude,
Joah Spearman

Just met a boutique owner, bought a shirt, talked a good bit, and he ended up subscribing to @Localeur for a buying trip he has to Paris this week. This is why I do what I do.
From the court to the beach with LA local and WNBA sharp shooter @Lexiebrown
Of course, @timberland has her fitted for an off day by the ocean.

I don’t do this often, but we just signed a major new @Localeur partnership so last night I took 30 minutes to personally respond to one of our new subscribers’ trip request for Austin. This was the email reply I woke up to this morning.
And we have locals in 200 cities.
