So sad to hear about Gary Rowell. As well as a Sunderland legend, he was also a brilliant broadcaster and more importantly a top, top guy. Everyone loved being in his company. I hope he gets the love and respect he deserves today.

Grew up in a village with a Barnsley/Wednesday split. It was fun to “hate” them and more so because a load of good pals support them. This is so sad to see. Proper fans turning their backs on “their” club. Hope it works and forces him out. The owner is strangling the club.
