What if finding the best yield wasn't a task, but it became a feature?
Agents will enable yield optimization for every asset you hold.
@NorexaAI is building agents to serve every asset class, without the hassle that DeFi brings.
What is Norexa?
TL;DR: Norexa is a micro-cap project that is building a fully autonomous execution layer for DeFi, allowing users to develop and utilize agents for various tasks such as yield optimization, arbitrage, governance execution, and portfolio rebalancing.
Airdrop campaigns, monitoring funding rates and/or prices across platforms, providing LP, and chasing incentives using various mechanics, there are so many ways to chase yield.
It remains one of the most time-intensive tasks in DeFi, with so many protocols competing for your liquidity. The sheer number of ways to put them to work means finding the best place is a never-ending task.
So the question is asked, what if there was a tool that could do all these tasks for you automatically and allocate your assets to achieve the best yield?
This is what Norexa is building: a one-stop shop for users to deposit assets with an agent of their choice and put those funds to use to get the best yield, and change positions in real-time when needed.
For Norexa to achieve its goal, they are addressing a few core issues that it believes every agent platform should have to ensure trust and security:
🔹 Decentralized agent marketplace.
🔹 Non-custodial vaults.
🔹 Bonding and slashing mechanics for vault creators.
🔹 On-chain reputation engine.
🔹 Permissionless SDK and licensing framework.
These platform features are meant to ensure that those who create an agent with a certain strategy are aligned with its success.
If a vault fails to perform or encounters a black swan event, their staked
$NRX is used to (partially) refund depositors, with 70% of slashed
$NRX going to depositors, with the remaining 30% used for the DAO (20%) and burning/liquidity incentives (10%).
This also adds a layer of security for depositors as there is some safeguard in place when they decide to deposit with Norexa.
In order to attract developers to create more agents, they've implemented a reputation feature so successful developers get more attention, and also allow them to license their vault logic to other developers to earn additional fees.
The protocol covers gas costs for qualifying strategies to make deploying on Norexa more attractive.
$NRX serves a core role within the entire ecosystem, from bonding and slashing to DAO governance.
$NRX does it all.
Some of these features are being built or will evolve, like staking.
Currently, users can stake
$NRX risk-free to earn an attractive APY of 18.2%. In the future, stakers can delegate to agents to help secure the marketplace and reward successful developers.
Staking has a 24-hour cooldown window when requesting a withdrawal, and buys and sells of
$NRX are subject to a 5% tax fee to support liquidity, development, and marketing.
Staking
$NRX in the future will give you reduced management fees for specific agents and access to elite agents that require a minimum amount of tokens staked to access.
Norexa has designed its protocol to revolve around its token, and this can be seen in every process; it makes the token a great bet on the future success of the protocol for me.
I added
$NRX to my microcap portfolio. Trading right now at 600k MC with competitors being many multiples higher.
While it will take some liquidity in the market to get the microcaps started, the NRX team seems hardworking with a vision, and they could be an attractive platform for developers to attract more yield strategies.
