My life would be better and easier if I weren’t born disabled. The types of things even small that I and many others have to deal with in this regard is a lot. I can’t even hardly see my own little girls face. Or show up to an interview and have them pay more attention to my cane or one closed eye than what I am saying to them. Being disabled sucks. That’s why disability pride month is hard for me. There is nothing prideful about this life when I know things could have been better if one chromosome just flipped over

My only complaint about the new @sanholobeats album is that it’s too short and when it ends I just want more songs. Deluxe release when?

None of you know what raising a child with a disability is like, and none of you know what being a child with a disability is like. The world is actively hostile against us, everything we accomplish is harder because trying to exist in a world that isn’t designed for you is always an uphill battle. I don’t think anyone who doesn’t have experience with this particular thing has any right to judge this couple on the decision they made. The majority of you will never know what it is like as a parent to try and give your kids everything to succeed and watch the world actively push them back down the ladder. It’s heartbreaking, and it makes you feel powerless. Words from my dear mother who is doing just that right now. It can make you feel like a failure as a parent even though you’re doing everything you possibly can and then some. Let’s be kind and respect the wishes.

Whenever me and my wife as a blind couple and new parents have had a hard time, this is the music we come back to. You’ve definitely been the soundtrack to our 20s, and this is a good album to add to the soundtrack of our 30s.
