真の声量と響きについて、正しく理解するためのお話です。
声が大きいことを自慢する人がいますが、それはマイクを音割れさせるだけの、ただのデカい声かもしれません。
プロの現場で必要とされる真の声量とは、声の芯と、息の圧、そして肺活量の掛け算で決まります。
これが揃うと、大きな声を出さなくても、空間を震わせ、ペットボトルの水を振動させるほどの圧が生まれます。
大きな声を出さないと大きな音が出ない声は、密度が低く、マイクに綺麗に乗らないんです。
逆に、真の響きを持つ声は、悪いマイクなら簡単に音割れを起こし、良いマイクならこの上なく美しく録れます。
専門学校などで、声を張れ、と教えられることがありますが、意味を理解せず張り上げれば喉を傷めるだけです。
本当に必要なのは、大きな声ではなく、大きく響く声なんです。
小さくても芯があり、遠くまで届く響き。
これを手に入れるには、脱力と正しい姿勢、正しい呼吸が必要不可欠です。
日本で言われるボイトレの多くはボーカルトレーニングで、芝居の響きを改善できないことも多いのが現状です。
自分の声が、ただ耳障りな騒音になっていないか、それとも豊かに空間を満たす楽器になっているか。
その仕組みを理解して、プロ基準の響きを目指す努力をしましょう。
Ｖｔｕｂｅｒの皆さんも、機材の加工に頼る前に、まずは自分の身体を楽器にする感覚を掴んでください。
それだけで、あなたの声の魅力は、何倍にも膨れ上がりますよ。
