A player who recently returned from active duty explained the concept of combat width to me. It made a lot of sense, so I redesigned the maps as long strips instead of huge full squares.
This keeps players focused on a limited combat front. As the front lines push forward, supply runs will naturally become more difficult.
Square maps are still kept but not advised. All these features will unlock in the full version.
I’ve also improved the water visuals.
