Congratulations to St Columba's church member Molly Arbuthnott on the publication of her new children's book Effie the Midge, out today!
Thankfully, Effie is much kinder than most Scottish midges, spreading joy, wonder and kindness wherever she goes.

A rare view of St Columba's Pont Street.
This remarkable photograph shows the church site after the Blitz, as workers cleared the ruins in preparation for rebuilding. Captured between destruction and renewal, it reveals a side of St Columba's history few will have seen.

Christian Aid Week Appeal – Thank You
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported this year’s Christian Aid Week Appeal at St Columba's on Pont Street.
Through cake sales, donations, and generous giving in many different ways, we raised an incredible £3,199.40
We were reminded this week of a story from 1926: during the General Strike, St Columba's opened its doors to many young women facing long and difficult journeys across London.
A century later, the spirit of welcome, kindness and community remains at the heart of our church
"Follow me." — Matthew 9:9
Jesus' invitation to Matthew was simple, personal and life-changing.
This Sunday at St Columba's we'll explore faith, authentic relationships and where we encounter God in today's world.
