Sometimes, kids make bad choices. Sometimes, they really screw up. We hold them accountable... but we can also extend some grace. They need to know we still like them. They need to learn a lesson... but it is never constructive when they feel alienated from us.

Much of anxiety stems from a lack of learning. When we learn new things our cortex gets to work. This is the state of consciousness.
When we’re not learning we use more primal/emotional systems of the brain. These areas of the mind are dominated by survival mechanisms. #onelove
