We need new Line 2 subway trains.
Delaying the purchase would be pound foolish.
But we also NEED to know why we plan to pay $41.3M per train. Line 1 Rockets cost $17.8M apiece ($24M in current dollars).

ZERO bikes were involved in this nightly car traffic jam on Spadina.
Also tonight, 100 bikes passed me on my walk along Wellington from Bathurst to Spadina. That would have been 1 km of cars if they drove instead. Those clinging to cars, you’re welcome.

GO Ridership is up to 82.5%, and UP Express is up to 91.8% pre pandemic ridership over the last year. In total, 59 million riders were served over the last year. A 44% increase from the previous year (41 million riders)
