A few final words of Thank you from Lee Greenwood the U23’S manager for the 24/25 season.

Our final award is The Clubman Of The Year and it was awarded to our vice Captain Perry Newman! The dedication from Perry this season has been immense from changing room banter to helping the U18’s in our last final games preparing them for men’s football and never giving up, Perry went to the end of the earth for his team mates and nothing was a problem, we are all proud to call you our friend on and off the pitch you deserve this award Congratulations Perry 🖤🤍

Our 4th award is the one the boys always want they vote for the winner of this one themselves, sadly the winner of the Players player award couldn’t make the afternoon due to work commitments but he is finally home and recieved his award today, his hardwork in midfield with the tackles he puts in is fully appreciated by the rest of the squad Congratulations Kyran Quelch 🖤🤍

Now it’s time to reveal our 3rd award which was voted by the fans, Spectators player! this year was awarded to Perry Newman, he has played in a few different positions this season but has never given up and showed passion in every game, the fans enjoyed watching him this past season!! Congratulations Perry Newman 🖤🤍

Our second award of the day was the Managers player award now this was awarded to our captain Max Boulter even though he had a few injuries the past season he was still at all the games supporting our manager and the team from the dugout always showed 110% on the pitch and his passion in every game was immense Congratulations Max 🖤🤍

The first of our awards yesterday was our Top goal scorer award, with a few of our players catching him up towards the end of the season he managed to keep the lead within our squad and the award went to Thom Chance making 21 appearances and scoring 15 goals with 2 of them being from the penalty spot, Congratulations Thom 🖤🤍

After yesterdays presentation we can officially say that it is now the end of an era 😢 missing a couple of the boys due to other commitments but it was a great day had by all more pictures to follow later

Yesterday was an emotional day for all of us as we played our final game, with players and management putting on their boots for the last time they wanted to finish on a high and they did with a brilliant 5-0 win, this is a team that will be missed by the club and each other What a way to finish 🖤🤍

What a way for it to end for our #10 Kyran Quelch our attacking midfielder, he never stops pressing and will never pull out of a tackle, so pleased he got this on his last game for us Congratulations Kyran 🖤🤍

What a send off for our number 7 Perry Newman, scoring a hatrick on his final game we are proud of what he has achieved since he has been at Melford and the club will miss him, well done Perry 🖤🤍
