My heart is with the community of Mercy Islamic Center, a Minneapolis mosque that lost so much in a fire yesterday.
Thankfully, nobody was injured.

Help us get the mayor into conversation with 3rd Precinct community leaders! Urge him to come to the table for conversations about a community safety plan based on the needs of our communities! He announced that he wants to relocate the 3rd Precinct building to 2600 Minnehaha.

The 2600 site was rejected by the community during the spring engagement session and by City Council.
He said the city lacks the $ and time to explore more ideas. He asked members to approve funds for the new station later this month or give him the $ and authority to move ahead.
