A common source of disappointment is recency bias: weighing the last week more heavily than the last year.
Zooming in on the immediate past magnifies slumps. Zooming out farther reveals upward slopes.
Progress is rarely visible at a snapshot in time. It unfolds over a lifetime.

The first week of Camp LOOP Garou is almost over. Before the month ends, 60 campers will explore their wild sides through canoeing, high ropes challenges, wilderness skills, hiking, fishing, and other outdoor adventures. They’ll also make lasting memories and meet new friends!

They camped overnight, completed a service project, went crabbing, learned about the ecology of the area, went stargazing, and relaxed at the beach.
