π LAUNCHED MY LATEST PROJECT:
@WPRemoteWork π
The entire weekend was devoted to creating
@WPRemoteWork - a dedicated job platform for WordPress enthusiasts, connecting you with opportunities at WordPress-powered companies.
Why did I build this? Because, honestly, I couldn't find a job listing platform tailored to WordPress that made my life easier.
The official WordPress job platform at
jobs.wordpress.net/ is pretty basic, lacking essential information.
I'm genuinely inspired by
@michelleames' outstanding work on
wpcareerpages.com/ for WordPress communities. She's created something wonderful.
But, here's the thing: I wanted to make the experience even smoother. Instead of navigating to individual company pages to check for job openings, I've streamlined it all on
@WPRemoteWork, complete with an easy "Apply" button that takes you straight to the company's site.
If you're part of the WordPress community, I strongly recommend giving it a whirl. π¨βπ»
The best part? It's 100% built on WordPress, thanks to the genius folks at
@TeamBreakdance / Soflyy, the same company behind
@RealOxygenApp.
For crafting those neat company pages, I've used Authors
@PublishPresscom, which lets me create slick company boxes with a simple shortcode. Definitely worth exploring!
I'll admit, it might not be the epitome of design perfection just yet, but it's functional, and that makes me pretty darn happy. π
If you have any feedback or suggestions, I'm all ears and deeply appreciative! π
