We're moving! Sort of . . . During Reading Week (June 15 to 19, 2026) our books are moving to another part of the Library. This means lots of noise and dust. As a safety precaution, some areas will be inaccessible, including the books, computers and the whole upstairs level (1/2)

Between June 28 and July 3, 1969, thousands of 2SLGBTQ protesters and supporters rioted following a police raid on the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar in New York City. The Stonewall Riots were the root of modern pride celebrations, which take place around the world every June. (1/2)

Pride is a time to recognize the impacts, successes and achievements of 2SLGBTQ people, a time to celebrate, and a time to raise awareness of the violence and discrimination still facing 2SLGBTQ people around the world. Check the links in our bio all month long for more! (2/2)

Attention students! Convocations ceremonies run from June 9 to 12, and grads will be picking up their diplomas and certificates here in the Library. That means things will get noisy! If you need a quiet space, let us know. We've got study rooms, and a list of spaces ready to go.

An important update for any of our students or colleagues who use transit - especially if you catch the bus at the Pioneer building. cc: @LoyalistCollege
Transit | The following Belleville Transit route adjustments will come into effect this Monday, May 4. 🚌: ➡️ Routes 3 and 4 will service the main loop at Loyalist College. The Pioneer Building will no longer be serviced. ➡️ Routes 5A and 5B will no longer travel along Bleecker Avenue between Bridge Street East and Victoria Avenue. Buses will instead use MacDonald Avenue between these streets. No bus stops will be affected by this change. ➡️ The bus stop near the Walmart entrance will be removed from service. Temporarily, the only active stop in the area will be on Millennium Parkway in front of the boulevard near St. Louis Bar & Grill until a new stop and shelter are constructed further along the boulevard. These changes are being implemented to improve service efficiency and accommodate operational needs. Download the Transit App or visit Belleville.ca/RoutesandSched… to plan your trip and view the updated maps.
