Maybe don’t name the scandal for the 24-year old intern who still gets hate mail every time her name circulates on Twitter, please?

The last time POTUS's party gained seats in the House were 1998 and 2002. These are generally attributed to Lewinsky and 9/11, respectively. If Ds hold the House in 2022, people will attribute it to Roe being overturned and overall GOP radicalization including Jan. 6.

Just wait till 'The Law of Freedom: The Supreme Court and Democratic Process' (CUP 2023) drops!
An intriguing fact: Constitutional thinking based on Carolene Products n. 4, and Ely's Democracy and Distrust, seem to be almost entirely missing from current constitutional debates. @lsolum @Vermeullarmine @pojanowski @DaphnaRenan

If you have a full afternoon/evening, take a walk across Port Meadow followed by drinks & dinner at The Trout. Also, halloumi sandwiches at the falafel stand on Gloucester Green. And a late-night snack from Hassan's kebab van.
I am honored that tomorrow (Thursday 7/28) at noon ET, I will be testifying before the House of Representatives Committee on House Administration. I will be discussing the independent state legislature theory & its dangers to democracy. More here: cha.house.gov/committee-acti…

So WISCT said no dropboxes unless at 'alternate voting sites'. Since election officials had already been operating under that rule, it won't change anything for the August primary or November Election. 1/4

Y’all don’t even know how hard these people work.
As we have seen, we had an amazing Election Day here in Georgia. I want to thank our great state election team that has been here since 5am and of course the great county elections officials and poll workers in all 159 counties. Great Job! #gapol

Hey Poly Sci people, I would love to read a paper using Georgia as a case study to measure the effect of co-partisan elite messaging on the entrenchment of disinformation. We’ve been running a natural experiment here since election day.

Hey, @nytimes, this sentence requires some serious follow up: “Officials say Russia’s ability to change vote tallies *nationwide* is *limited*” (emphasis added).

American officials did not make clear what Russia planned to do, but they said its operations would be intended to help President Trump, potentially by exacerbating disputes around the results, especially if the race is too close to call. nyti.ms/35pMFIV

A key recommendation is that media educate the public about how election counts may take longer than past years and vote margins may change during the count as election officials process large numbers of mail ballots in key states such as PA and M.I #FairElectionsCrisis /9
