I can report back on massive progress made on the writer's retreat today. Chapter 2 is now in the making. This is the Zen Den and there’s quiet writing time available here. This environment is so much more conducive for creativity and writing flow. I need to find a way to replicate this in daily life.

Here is my public declaration that I am writing a book. I am saying it out loud here to hold myself accountable. The adventure begins today as I head off to Lancashire on a writers retreat for a few days. I have found a cosy pub for dinner. I have a feeling of anticipation about the retreat and being amongst the other authors.
