Literally every other author or aspiring author is using some sort of variation of their name as their handle. So... why am I not doing the same? Because... The lucent phoenix is the center of Roaring Radiance. And I abandoned my old project. It's the story of my rebirth.

I love wasting the time of cameras and making them think I'm actually gonna fall for their shit, and then showing the screenshots to my friends! I need to start posting them here :D

So awesome she posted this video right as I got word back from my beta readers that absolutely loved what I showed them! This was one of the main points I brought up, and they said boredom never hit them a single time! Thanks so much, Alyssa! You're a huge help on my journey! :)

We need to speak more about falling in love with our characters and the incredible journey of self-discovery and self-love that is creation. We build these real people; not from scratch, but from pieces of ourselves. We send them on a journey where they face many trials reflecting our own experiences; our own real-life stories. It's funny, they start saying things you never imagined saying; doing things you never imagined doing. It's like you're not even writing the story anymore. You're just along for the ride as your character walks down the road. Every little trip comes with a spark of hope, and every spark comes with rivers of tears. We don't want them to get hurt. We don't wanna be the one to hurt them. But that's how we grow. That's how everything grows. Trials and tribulations. And eventually... Triumph. And their triumph is our triumph. We love our characters. We love our creations. We love ourselves.

Actually, funny story. I was playing the Dark souls 2 closed beta years ago, and this girl was watching me in the forest. I ended up finding the chariot boss and beat it on my first try. Solo. And then she gave me my first kiss. God, that's a nerdy story, but it's mine.

I know it's not the case for everyone, but so many accounts on this website repeat three words of the previous comment, and then analyze the crap outta one or two parts and ignore the rest. Even verified. People can't even write a freakin' reply without AI anymore. Jesus.
