At least from my experience so far people are giving Apple WAY too much credit already... People are so easily throwing standards away and as soon as it gets a TINY bit better the praise is back... So far Apple has barely improved anything yet. Stop pretending iOS27 is perfection

Literally nothing of this hints anything.
Here's four features on macOS 27 beta that hints us of an upcoming redesign 17" MacBook Ultra πŸ«ͺ - Sidecar gains touchscreen input for iPads, means MacBook is getting a touchscreen - Siri Ai is closer to the notch, means it may move to the Dynamic Island in the future - macOS 26 Live Activities also hints Dynamic Island coming to the Macs - Every Ui elements are now bigger, making room for a touch actions

It's so funny how Apple is paying more attention to this after they did THIS to their whole system for years.
iOS 27 adds landscape mode to 12 more Apple apps (including Health, Weather, Fitness, Reminders, and Journal). It's a welcome update, though some interfaces still don't feel fully optimized for horizontal view.

- WhatsApp does has ads. - it has a "Premium" subscription now - the UI is quite bloated for a simple fucking messenger - they force stuff like Meta AI onto you - what messenger lags on budget phones? That's like the default. - WhatsApp - a simple fucking messenger that does pretty much NOTHING else - is over 300MB. For comparison iMessage, which can do WAY more and is way more polished, is 2.3MB
Is there any app which can replace whatsapp ? - No ads. - No Premium. - No bloated UI. - No forced upgrades. - No lag on budget phones. - No 500MB updates every week.

I don't know what Apple is doing but they have to stop giving apps apparently control over the keyboard? I have had SO many bugs (not just in 27 but 26 and older) but almost all of them are app-specific. None of the dozens of bugs I encounter on Twitter appear in other apps. Same with YouTube.

so far the most annoying bug among iOS, iPadOS and macOS27 for me is that dropping the images I take with my Nikon of the SD and save to Photos all turn out to be something like 80x120 in size. Sometimes it even copies the correct size but as soon as I want to edit it in Photomator for example or just share it, it just turns into the uselessly tiny one. It's so confusing that it's even kinda hard to write a good feedback about it 😭

iOS 27 camera app: The 3 immediate options should be Video, Photo, and Portrait. Not Siri. Apple should change it or at least give us an option to change it.

And both are "illegal" in the EU btw Same as Googles heavily integrated version on Android. Because even fucking Microsoft understands what a gigantic security risk for the users it would be if they complied with the ridiculous DMA. As for the reason why Siri AI is "loved" while Copilot is hated: Apple doesn't force you to it. They provide it and you can use it. Microslop on the other hand added a physical fucking key to laptops just for this and forces it into EVERYTHING
Copilot in Windows 11 vs Siri AI on macOS 27… Both are AI systems heavily baked into desktop operating systems but one of them is almost universally hated while the other is in increasingly high demand.

I still hate this AI slop stuff but I have to give Apple credits for... being creepy. I extended a picture of my Venus fly trap and it added an Aloe Vera plant behind it. What's creepy about it? It's correct. There's literally an aloe Vera plant there and it detected that correctly just from ONE thin "leaf" barely visible behind the paper sign. And even the plate they're standing on is exactly the correct shape And no, it couldn't have got this through other of my pictures or whatever because this is the only picture I took. Of this plant that I got today...

I know it's normal but it's still kinda interesting that my iPhone Air finished indexing after barely over a day while my iPad mini 7, which has virtually the exact same stuff installed aside from 2-3 smaller apps and it is still indexing after 3 days

Apple designed the new Siri with the iPhone 18 Pro/Max in mind, as with the rumored smaller Dynamic Island it's a perfect orb This explains why it's not a pill in iPadOS and MacOS

It was kinda another time but this shows why I'm glad live events are gone I mean it took like 30sec just to watch the laptop slowly rotate twice...

this app uploads all of your screenshots to the cloud for β€œprocessing” without a warning or consent. it also changes the privacy policy back and forth without any notices or changelogs, and one of the versions included permission to train on user data beware and don’t give random apps access to sensitive data

Introducing Pool That little icon got us $2M in funding, 15M organic views, and now you can all finally discover what's behind it. Pool is "just an app for your screenshots." But it holds a few bets we decided to build a whole company on. We believe the context of the future is your camera roll. Understanding someone's taste, the texture of their life, can unlock things we can't even comprehend yet. We believe the future of interfaces will feel the way games make us feel, computing as a beautiful mix of art and technology. Now live on the App Store.

iOS27 just gave me a free MagSafe Battery for my iPhone Air! Revolutionary! Every time I connect the battery, this invisible one appears as well but for some reason they even have individual battery levels that drain separately

Except they literally did. That's why realistic fucking AI generated images are now a thing from Apple. This shit should not exist and 2 years ago Apple ACTIVELY denied them being interested in destroying the value of photography but now they did it anyway.
