Times are tough for some. One of my current PhD students is suffering more than most. Saif moved his whole family to Australia to pursue his dreams. Now he is in Sydney supporting his 4 year old daughter to fight leukemia. Please help, if you can👇

A rant on grants:
I have applied 3 times for an @arc_gov_au FF – all unsuccessful.
I was confident on 2 of these, naively the first time (one of my first grants ever written). And then again when I was more senior and had a good track record.
