Every argument I’ve seen in favor of unchecked billionaire wealth hinges on the assumption that their accomplishments beget such wealth, it is earned. Ok, let’s take that at face value. Wouldn’t the public dollars in the form of subsidies and investments also be entitled to reap the rewards of their sound investment? Should not the victor of the capitalist game owe some of his success to the country that made it possible?
Elon Musk became a trillionaire precisely because he solved important problems.

Instead of discussing how Elon Musk is now the world's first trillionaire, we should talk about how he killed hundreds of thousands of people through his dismantling of food and medical aid to poor countries currentaffairs.org/news/how-…

The most corrupt administration in us history bar none
This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it. More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months. And here’s the part that should make your blood boil. Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence. The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it. Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price. We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us. wapo.st/3QmJjSz

The scariest thing about this election cycle is that unlike in 2020 they’re barely even trying to find believable stories. Everything I’ve seen is just basic lies or stupidity I don’t even see people going into those in depth (but obviously wrong) analyses. Just ‘didn’t go my way so that’s cheating’

Thanks @LukeMiani for talking about the faulty Apple MDM system, which is destroying millions of Apple products every year. Everyone who cares about Apple products not being destroyed should watch this video (link below)

Kevin clearly has no clue what he’s talking about

Kevin O'Leary says Apple's genius is making people pay 5x more for a laptop they could buy for $350 "you can buy an Apple laptop, average price about $1,800, or you can buy the same functionality for $350 on a Windows laptop" "but you still pay $1,800. Why? Brand" "you're paying a 5x multiple in some cases for something that is exactly like a Windows machine" "I put that out to people, they say, yeah, but it's not an Apple. So there is the genius of Jobs"

How did a catfish get access to the clay model is what I’d love to know
According to the Luce press pack, the nose design was a lucky accident. Jonny Ive’s pet catfish ate a chunk out of the clay model, and they liked it so much they kept it that way.

Mark Zuckerberg says Apple's lack of innovation since the iPhone will lead to its decline "They haven't really invented anything great in a while. Steve Jobs invented the iPhone, and now they're kind of sitting on it 20 years later" "Year over year, I'm not even sure they're selling more iPhones at this point. Part of it is that each generation doesn't actually get that much better, so people are taking longer to upgrade" "They built stuff like AirPods, which are cool, but they've thoroughly hamstrung the ability for anyone else to build something that can connect to the iPhone" "I'm pretty optimistic that because they've been so off their game in terms of not really releasing many innovative things... eventually they'll get beat by someone"
