They cover both GANs and Transformers, the latter driving Large Language Models LLMs such as ChatGPT and GPT-4 - personally I believe they should be called foundational models as they can be multimodal dealing with computer vision as well as language.

I think AI in biology is the most exciting AI field currently. I love chatGPT and it baffles my mind what it is able to do, but it also makes me more excited to see AI's capabilities to contribute in biology and health.
