My stint as a WSC coach has come to an end, and I am glad we ended on a high note with the students' excellent achievements. People often don't believe how well we did and because we get almost 100% invites into the next round, they tend to believe everyone gets through. .

Yesterday, while chatting with another teacher from India, I found out that only 4 of their 7 teams got invited to TOC. Congratulated them but felt even more proud of our scholars! Whether they choose to move forward and attend TOC is another matter; they more than qualified!

Discussion using mark schemes to help them focus on areas they can work on. Evaluating in paper 2 0500 can be daunting. Discussing with friends before presenting to a bigger group can help clarify ideas as they look at how to. #revision

Simple strategies to make reading more engaging: get them to teach others new words (vocabulary quilt), create timeliness (summary), and use picture comics so they get to remember details better. Presentation helps them build confidence to speak in front of the class.
