October was the first month of the year I played more games with someone other than my wife. Bit of a slow month because it was very busy (including a trip to Spiel), but highlights include playing Sky Team in Düsseldorf Airport.

I love making a good stencil when I’ve got to paint the same thing over and over again. This t-shaped stencil can handle all three LI road plates: straights, Ts, and crosses.

Finished the main story of Ghost of Yotei. Absolutely a worthy successor to Ghost of Tsushima, and the pair are two of the best games I’ve ever played. Atsu’s story is now my favorite revenge tale.

Been in a bit of a painting slump, so to get back on the hobby horse I painted this quick little Sabretooth from Marvel United. It was really fun!

This summer I played Santorini in Santorini! To pull it off, I found and printed a little Santorini board and pieces. I designed some nesting, removable trays to hold the pieces and cards. It was a super fun project and a neat thing to tick off the bucket list!

We had some friends in town for a couple of weeks, and the group got swept up with The Crew. So much fun! We really struggled with Mission 28, far more than any other. It was a huge outlier. Were there any missions you struggled with? Was it just us struggling on 28?
