A Nigerian woman, Tsegba Lucy, has paid an emotional tribute to her mother and four siblings who were killed during the attack on Yelwata community in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.
The attack, which occurred between June 13 and 14, 2025, reportedly claimed the lives of more than 200 people and displaced over 3,000 residents.
Marking the first anniversary of the tragedy, Lucy took to Facebook to express her grief, saying the loss of her loved ones has left a void in her heart that can never be filled.
She fondly recalled the cherished memories she shared with her mother and siblings, remembering their smiles, laughter, and the love that bound them together.
