The DOC Hockey Team participated in the Healing Heroes Foundation's BFit Heroes Cup, joining first responders and military from across the region in a tournament fundraiser to support the well-being of those who serve. The tournament included recognitions of CO John Edwards.

As part of honoring Officer John Edwards’ life and service yesterday, the DOC conducted a final radio call. We share that final call in recognition of Officer Edwards’ 28 years of service to the Department and the lasting impact he had on those who knew and worked alongside him.

Last month, DOC held a commemoration event in honor of Victim Rights Month, where we came together to honor the importance of supporting victims and survivors. We heard from Ready Inspire Act, whose work provides support to individuals impacted by exploitation and trafficking.
