Today, CMU President Bob Davies announced plans to step down on Dec. 31, 2024. The next 11 months will allow the Board of Trustees time to find the university’s 16th president and allow for a seamless transition. Read his letter to the campus community: bit.ly/3Op5vHJ

Our CEO Dan Hurley testified this morning in support of HB 4982, which would extend the sunset on Michigan's participation in the Midwest State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement. The bill has now passed out of the House!

No participating university is lowering admissions criteria, but what changed today is that students no longer have to worry if they're on the bubble. A 3.0 GPA may be a floor, but students may get admitted into some participating universities with a lower GPA.
