Meadowbrook’s Girls on the Run team had some special guests join their team practice today! The Oak Park High School Girls Cross-Country team came and shared their long distance running knowledge. Thank you to the Cross-Country team for supporting our Meadowbrook girls!

Coloring is always a popular station @MBRoadrunners during Makerspace time. If I forget to put out coloring supplies, I always have a few students ask for it. Hence, the creation of a mobile coloring station. I ❤️ how it turned out! @NKCSchools #nkclibraries

During Makerspace time today, some Ss collaborated to build a tower taller than me. I stood next to it for a rough measurement, but their 👀 lit up when I got out the tape measure. It was 7' tall. @MBRoadrunners @angiegroenke #nkclibraries @nkcs

One of my favorite activities each year is the ABC scavenger hunt. Ss explore the library and write down authors, titles, characters, Makerspace supplies, etc. to complete their alphabet sheet. @angiegroenke @NKCSchools @MBRoadrunners #nkclibraries

After reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, students in Miss Hutchinson’s class created their own letter trees using the letters in their names. Great fine motor practice, as well, with cutting and gluing the letters! @MBRoadrunners
