As our coastal resorts are now seeing thousands of visitors leaving their litter behind, and locals are blaming the riffraff from London, I recall the social strata of litter back in Wandsworth. One end of the park beer cans, in the middle Prosecco, in the posh end champagne .

2016. Guy McPherson (a climate change expert, scientist, and professor from the University of Arizona) says that there will not be any humans on the planet by 2026 due to the effects of climate change. Trust the scientists. 😜🤣

It should have been obvious
David Roberts is a great climate writer, but he's also a jerk who gets on his high horse and says aggressive and mean things to people, using politics as a justification for his behavior. Now he's realizing the downsides of the toxic online culture he's part of. Good!

The most polarized input to agriculture, Glyphosate, has delivered net environmental benefits. It displaced more toxic herbicides. It made no-till farming possible. And it led to declines in erosion, fuel use, and even emissions. breakthroughjournal.org/p/gl…

I hate this in politicians. Ed Davey is another one... 2013 "[fracking] is not the evil thing that some people try to make it out to be" 2014 "I love shale" 2019 "I'm very proud that you're looking at the person who basically stopped the fracking industry in this country"

Brilliant
Early Britons lived in primitive huts. They had no heating, television or electricity. Their diet was mostly fruit and salads leaves. All gender was nonbinary. The concept of "male" and "female" didn't exist. Their villages were multicultural. Afro-Caribbeans lived happily alongside Palestinians, Nigerians and Ukrainians. They were healthy. They lived to well over 100. There was no cancer, heart disease or stroke. What changed? In 1066, gingers arrived from France. They destroyed the huts and made everyone live in castles. The healthy salads and fruits? Replaced by dead pig. The whole population was divided into two genders. Never forget. Never forgive.

The Green Party is now roughly divided into 4 shades of green: 1) Original Green, the ecologists; 2) Green with envy, the cod-Marxists; 3) Green with naïveté, the TQ mob; 4) Islamist Green, just what it says. Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation
Isn't the Green party supposed to be about ecology and climate change ? Or is the word 'green' being used in its other sense of 'inexperienced', 'naive', 'untested' and 'not to be relied on ' ?

A good critique of a Creationist's attempt to cause division among Christians as he believes God created in 4000BC. A woeful idea for creating division Dividing Christians over some Monkey Business; Hamming it up michaelroberts4004.wordpress…

A slant view on Lent. Lent should make us focus on our own faults, but too much Christian theology puts it back to dear Adam. Here I question common view of Romans 8. 20 on "creation" being subjected to futility. Is it a wrong translation? michaelroberts4004.wordpress…
